


Irvine School Of Martial Arts (I.S.O.M.A.). was founded in 1984 and is strong throughout
Ayrshire. The style was made prominent by the late Master Mick Milroy, founder of
many schools in the Lancashire area. His main centre of excellence being in his
hometown of Bolton, where he organised and ran the World Korean Jitsu Federation

George Bryson, Sahbamin of I.S.O.M.A., had previously studied Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu
and combative sciences to the highest level. After being introduced to Master Milroy and being impressed by his technique, Knowledge and the simple efficiency of the Kwanbup techniques he decided to dedicate himself to the study and further development of Kwanbup in all its many facets.
